Grant Sales Manager Reveals 2015 Sales Goals

December 29, 2014

Martha H. Fondren It is the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day – that slow, ate-too-much, holiday hangover kind of week that is only good for things like reflecting on all the good things that happened in the previous year and setting goals for the upcoming year. As the sales manager for Grant & Co., I am most grateful for my amazing sales team.  I am blessed to work with a group of 8 dedicated, hardworking, caring sales professionals.  And, one amazing sales assistant.   We all share a common goal   - to make sure that our customers are happy and satisfied in their new Grant home.  So, with a fresh cup of coffee and my little office heater warming my chilly office, I’m reflecting and planning. Some of the best things we did this year: *Provided Christmas gifts and food for two needy families – those smiling faces will be with us for the entire year! *Sponsored the Helping Hands program with the Northwest MS Association of Realtors to recognize Realtors in the organization who are helping with needs throughout the community. *Served as a Gold Sponsor with the Memphis Area Association of Realtors Multi-Million Dollar Club *Granted a wish for a Make-A-Wish Child *Hired GuildQuality – a third party customer satisfaction survey company to provide valuable information needed to develop a better customer service program *Contracted with the Jason Forest Performance Group to provide personal and team sales training for our real estate sales agents. *Exceeded our 2014 sales goal  Some of the goals the sales team has set for 2015: *Become a sales team with a GRATEFUL HEART.  We are all blessed beyond belief! *Provide for more families next Christmas *Support St. Jude by walking in the 2015 St. Jude Marathon *Continue the Helping Hands program with the NMAR *Continue supporting the MAAR’s Multi-Million Dollar Club with a sponsorship of their activities *Help our cooperative Realtor group reach their sales goals by providing information on our new homes for their clients and making Grant homes easy to sell *Improve our customer satisfaction rate with an improved customer service program *Devote time and energy into our sales training program with the Jason Forest Performance Group on a personal and team level *Become mentors to new sales agents  - there are a lot of years of experience in our sales meeting conference room.  It is our job to make sure any new agent who joins our team learns the best way to sell new homes – Customer Service #1 *Meet our sales goals for 2015 You may have noticed that a number of sales per sales agent is not THE primary goal.  You might assume that a particular number of sales per agent would have to be our ONLY goal.  Uh, not quite.   Do we have sales goals?  Absolutely!  Selling Grant homes is our JOB!  And, I can honestly say that working with the builders at Grant & Company is the best gig around for any new home sales professional.   But, the way we figure it, if we get all these other things right, we will reach our sales goals and have happy families living in our homes. So, in sticking with the first thing on our team goal list, we close out 2014 with gratitude for our homebuyers, our cooperative Realtors, our builders, our mortgage lenders and the hundreds of people it takes to build every single Grant home. Good wishes for a prosperous and blessed 2015 from the Grant Sales Team. Martha H. Fondren, Director of Sales & Marketing
